More complex than it credits Itself.

Collecting 8 different runs of the character, Trent Kaniuga's CREED Omnichronos is well over 400 pages of story and 70 pages of extras (covers, sketches). It's not printed at standard graphic novel size; it's a little smaller dimensionally than I'd expected, but I had no trouble reading the print. Some stories (a few which were originally printed in color) are printed in black and white while the final series are printed in color. This collection is also missing the CreeD / Ninja Turtles crossover issue, which is referenced within the pages as the first appearance of a minor villain, but that's neither here nor there.

The concept was originally conceived an first written & drawn by Kaniuga at age 16 and was published about that same time. It's a story about a kid maybe that same age. Maybe, in some respects, even the author; maybe it's a little about myself a little at that age. If the story is as smart as I'd like to give it credit it's an allegory: Mark is growing up and distances himself from the real world by focussing on the world within his own mind. He knows, though, that even the world of his dreams is imperfect and is, in fact, being over-run. He rules the world within his mind, but, just as much, he's at its mercy. If the story is not intended as an allegory or if the reader prefers not to read it philosophically, it's still a well drawn 'comic' with fun stories.

Kaniuga's lines blend graffiti and manga styles in a very successful way. His layouts and panel use is are easy to follow and, throughout the volume, his use of design elements improve and becomes very strong.

I thoroughly enjoyed the individual stories, the broader story told throughithe succession of series, and the over-arcing themes of internal conflict, growth, and understanding.

Kindle version has issues....great counseling book though

The book itself is great. The only reason I didn't give it a better rating is b/c of the formatting in the kindle version. Clearly the formatting from the book to kindle was not done well at all...hyphens are misplaced, diagrams are broken up, etc. The kindle version should be as good as the hardcopy IMO. I really like this book!!

I really like this book!! My first impression from reading the book is like as if I wrote the book myself. This book talks about what I believe in, what I know, and the words and style of this book are very close to me, however, the globality, structure, and openness of the mind and deep understanding of ideas is all part of the author's thinking and style. I am unable to find such words that could so beautifully and truthfully describe the love contained in this book.

The authors ideas, so clearly portrayed in the form of a teacher - student dialogue, leave the reader susceptible to an entirely new forward thinking mind-set. Mind Floss offers a freedom of thought that accesses ideas and foresight into the fundamental aspects of human nature, its evolution and its future. I particularly enjoyed Dr Tagers approach to the reformation of education, the key differences between knowledge and wisdom, and the development of intuitive thought. This book is a must read for anyone with an inquisitive mind, searching for answers both scientific and philosophical, or just keen to take a less travelled path into the human psyche and its links with the physical world. In my humble opinion this piece of work will only gain importance, as the realisation of the ideas inside come to fruition. Read It!!!!!

I have been inspired by this book. As far as mind expansion goes, this book has some of the easiest and most accessible content for creating change. For people looking for transformation in their lives, this book should be helpful for understanding the bigger picture. Linking nicely between science, metaphysics and spirit. This book is a very clear manifestation of human mind, consciousness, wisdom, sex, action and creating positive thoughts. It reads as sweetly as siberian honey and gives the reader a feeling of what is our true nature and how to move closer toward it. Reading this book with an open mind is a gift to your creativity and I recommend it very highly!

Most amazing book I read in a while

Just finished reading this book. I got it the same day and after reading the first few pages could not stop until the end.
The first part is highly entertaining with bits of great irony and comedy. The second part was by far the best part of the book. Incredibly smart, funny and written with uttermost skills.

A must read for everyone. At least for those that fell in the I category ;)

I really enjoy watching Gary Jenkins painting show. I thought I would buy a couple of his books for reference and to take a closer look. Save your money and watch the show. The books I purchased appear to be several years old and of inferior quality. The quality of the book content is very poor and a total waste of time. Not worth the money spent. If you really want to buy a Jenkins book buy it from his web site. The books there appear to be newer and of better quality.

About the Author
Alan Revere holds a unique position in the jewelry community, with one foot firmly planted as a master goldsmith and award-winning designer and the other as one of the country s most prominent jewelry educators. After earning degrees in both psychology and sculpture, Revere s passion led him to Germany, where he trained under some of the 20th century s most celebrated goldsmiths and designers. Returning to California with skills rarely taught in the United States, Mr. Revere was asked to share what he had learned with other jewelers and students. In 1979, he founded the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, now one of the country s foremost jewelry training programs. Alan Revere is past president of the American Jewelry Design Council and founder of the Contemporary Jewelry Design Group. In addition to designing and selling thousands of pieces of jewelry, Mr. Revere has created instructional books, articles and videos for jewelry makers. Fantastic Book

I am now training my son to carry on our family business and I purchased the book to assist with his training. It is by far the most organized and best book available on how to make fine jewelry. fabulous examples of making jewelry from metal stock.

If you are interested in making jewelry from sheet metal, wire, and bar stock (as opposed to casting) you will love this book. It has the clearest set of instructions and illustrations that I have seen and I have read numerous titles. The examples are interesting, illustrative of techniques, and varied. If you are new to jewelry fabrication this is a "'must have" book that will answer many of your questions.

Beautiful book, wonderfully illustrated and written

The illustrations and steps are very detailed. If you know the basic jewelry techniques you should be able to follow the steps to create some beautiful pieces and you'll learn a lot along the way from a master. I'm a beginner, yet I've already completed the earrings. It was a great lesson in sawing and did much to improve my confidence and skill.
