Minister Fortson is an Author "In The Know..."
By cheidt
It's what you know (and believe) that saves your life - and so knowledge, figuratively speaking, is an 'ark', one that can keep you afloat when others without it are sinking in a deluge of perplexity. If you desire to arm yourself with knowledge, the kind that may save both you and possibly your children - I recommend reading: 'As The Days of Noah Were', by Minister Dante Fortson. 'As The Days' is a well researched text, wonderfully fascinating. I've read a number of books on supernatural phenomenon - how such phenomenon manifests within our more understood physical reality - this book is among the best. It describes in detail many of the present ways the supernatural is showing up in our generation, and traces them through history and cultures. Fortson proves that something strange and anomalous out there - something 'alien'- wants us to know that they exist, they are intelligent, and that they wish to commune with us.
The amount of sheer data Fortson provides in the book makes it a worthy addition to one's library; there is a lot presented here to think about. I appreciate the fact that Fortson doesn't insult the reader's intelligence, or want so desperately to force the reader into his own arrived at conclusions, that he rushes through to tell them and what we should believe; he allows for process. He really has no 'agenda', as many Christian texts on this subject often do - not that they shouldn't - it's just that Fortson is an investigator sharing information - and it is very refreshing, because he doesn't come across as sanctimonious. He invites the reader to weigh the evidence and 'connect the dots'. He offers for consideration some related Biblical texts to reveal the many references within to non-human entities. These texts are rarely, if ever, given their due attention in our churches, or even in most seminaries. I can say from personal experience as a former seminarian that I was jibed a bit on more than one occasion just for wanting to stop and stay a while at some of the same verses Minister Fortson cites. No one seemed to want to address the idea that giants existed at one time, and I never dared call them 'hybrids'! These are passages which scare people - evidently. For me, the whole Bible is true. Fortson is not ashamed to ask 'what do you do?' with passages like - for example - AMOS 2:9,10, where we find the Lord saying:
"I destroyed the Amorite before them, though he was tall as the cedars and strong as the oaks. I destroyed his fruit above and his roots below."
Here is God's own testimony. Is He lying to us -? I say no. We rob God of glory when we teach that the Amorites were any less fearful or cedar-sized than the text indicates. Why? Because in Joshua 24:12, the Lord testifies, and in a real sense - He boasts - "I sent the hornet before you and it drove out the two kings of the Amorites from before you, but not by your sword or your bow."
How funny is that? God drives away cedar-sized giants with something He (not His enemy) made that's as small as a hornet - God launched a bug brigade! It's brilliant! God is boasts here of His greatness, in exceeding by far the might and strength of the so-called 'terrors' or Nephilim that caused the Israelites to feel "like grasshoppers" in comparison. Yes, I take it literally. My God is a giant killer, and no giant is bigger or stronger than my God - who fights for us - that is, unless we choose fear of them over faith in Him.
'As The Days of Noah Were' is not a complicated book, and I think that is Fortson's intention. He knows it doesn't have to be complicated to make it's point. He presents things simply because they are, saying 'look at this' and 'judge for yourself'.
I appreciate his frankness and honesty. Fortson is courageous in reporting his own harrowing brush with supernatural entities as a teenager. His interest in the supernatural seems to have been propelled by one or more events that caused him to take the power of evil seriously. I have read that many Christians today don't even believe in hell. The truth is if we spent a mere moment in hell's coolest corridor, we'd take evil and the powers of iniquity far more seriously. God mercifully allows only a few to experience hell - and it is always for some larger purpose - yet that person's life is never the same after the experience. Evil is not an idea, or a concept. Evil has a personality - an intention. We tell our kids that 'God has a plan for your life', and thankfully, He does - but the same can be said of evil. The forces of darkness are engaged in a variety of strategies designed to lure souls into captivity, and some of its devices are more detectable than others.
Without preaching his text, Fortson informs readers of the global campaign of deception, often characterized by misrepresentation - that evil has and is presently imposing upon all mankind, and to great success. Fortson is insightful, and intuitive - yet he doesn't try to convince us he's got all the answers. The Minister's powers of intellect show up most distinctly in presenting some (I suspect he's got more) of his conclusions, which are always striking. His incites also make this book a real 'keeper' - He masterfully assembles the pieces of the so-called 'alien jigsaw'. It's an enjoyable read!
This is a profoundly engaging book - and I caution you - it is very difficult to put down. Should you decide to purchase Minister Dante Fortson's: 'As The Days of Noah Were' - you will discover just how difficult.

Read it!
By Christopher J. Moffitt
After hundreds of hours of podcast listening to Dante and many other well educated hard working researchers, I found his book to be very well organized, full of vital information, and easy to read and understand. I learned a great deal more than I had previously digested from all the various podcasts and books which I'd poured through after my introduction to this "alternative" thinking which I know was brought to me by the Holy Spirit of God. As with Paul's experience on the road to Damascus, I really felt like the "scales" had fallen from my eyes when I began to investigate these truths which most people...including "Christians"....find that they don't even want to hear about, let alone consider or take into their worldview. It is unfortunate that people would call themselves followers of Yeshua yet they would rather be "comfortable" with their small, cozy, safe paradigms....their one hour a week sleep-fest known as the contemporary church.....and their lip-service to God.. while they won't read the Bible, serve others instead of themselves, or sacrifice anything for anyone....especially God. Wake up everyone! If you believe in God, then His word is the truth, and if God's word is the truth, then passages like Genesis 6:4 are serious business....and Jesus saying "As in the days of Noah...so shall it be at the coming of The Son of Man" is literally saying the end is going to be on the earth like it has never been before....crazy insane. I challenge you to learn all you can now....and be prepared later.

A must read for anyone searching for answers.

I won't reiterate what the others reviews say. Get this book, I could not put my kindle down. The book is well written and extremely well researched. Minister Fortson takes a subject, gives you a variety of angles from other texts than just the Bible and shows how they all seem to connect in very important ways and allows you the reader to find your own solutions. At the end of every chapter he asks you questions, there is a list of texts used in each chapter, things to think about and suggested readings. He encourages you to take what he shows you and go farther own your own. I can't recommend it enough.
